I’m Alisha Burgett–mom of three, recovering perfectionist, and the straightforward salon educator that you didn’t know you needed in your life. After settling down as the CEO of my second salon, I came to a huge realization: no one is teaching future stylists to work smart, embrace and refine their skills, and build a drama-free environment that allows them to live in their passions and stay in their lane. Obviously, with that realization I found my calling. At my salon, Max & Ro, I teach the next generation of stylists to be even better than me (which, honestly, is a tall ask). In my space we respect boundaries, have a deep love for our artistry, and help our clients become the most radiant, confident versions of themselves.

Our 15-month assistant training program allows you to gain expert-level experience working alongside myself and my stylists. Spend 20 hours per week shadowing me, practicing and refining your skills, and establishing tight-knit relationships with clients and peers. If you are serious about building a career as a luxury stylist who specializes in modern, natural cuts, coloring, and extensions, then the Max & Ro assistant program is the perfect first step.

Completely redefining the phrase “just a haircut.” I focus on creating the best haircut for your needs, lifestyle and maintenance schedule. High level of consideration goes into my haircuts because whether you are a simple gal or a boujee lady, you wear your hair everyday! Your haircut is the foundation for everything else you get done to your hair (or don't get done to your hair)
Keeping in line with my “like you, but better” philosophy, my haircuts are soft, blended, and designed to enhance your natural features with face-framing layers and a low-maintenance shape.
Haircut includes: A luxury extended wash, custom selected treatment masque for your hair needs, customized cut for easy wearability, signature Max + Ro blowout and finished style with modern curls.

Blondes, brondes and brunettes of all shades are welcome! My signature coloring style is easily recognizable and completely custom crafted for every guest. I utilize modern techniques to create an elevated look with a focus on enhancing your natural hair color when possible to create the softest regrowth and seamless transition. I love highlighting around your face and connecting that brightness through your ends. For a look that will be glowing not only when you leave the salon but weeks beyondthat for my low maintenance babes.
All new client services include a full blonding session featuring my signature look, customized trim and finished style.

My natural looking, hand-tied wefts require no glue, tape, or heat to apply. Meaning, they’re as healthy for your hair as they are stunning. They really are no fuss, just like everything else I stand for! You get easy to manage hair while being beautifully enhanced.
My approach to extensions is always easy but impactful. You get to have it all, saving hours on styling while looking and feeling like a total babe!
Extension prices include: the cost of extension hair, customized coloring on the extension hair, installation, cut to blend and finished style.
General prices are listed below but a thorough consultation is required prior to scheduling. Please note, coloring on your natural hair is priced seperately.
